Journalist Kaysar Hamid Hannan Receives Malaysia International Pride Award

Kaysar Hamid Hannan, Staff Correspondent and journalist for the popular satellite television channel NTV, has been honored with the prestigious 'International Pride Award' for his work as a journalist and top organizer abroad.
The award was presented to him last Friday (April 19) at a ceremony held at the five-star Royal Chulan Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia.
At the ceremony, the honorarium crest was handed over to expatriate journalist Kaysar Hamid Hannan by the proprietor of Star Universe and Miss Universe Charm 2019, Suda Ventures, and popular producer Sukanta Suman.
The event was attended by the Indian High Commissioner to Malaysia, Dr. B.N. Reddy; Chairman of the VRL Group, Anand Shankeshwar; India's popular playback singer Sachin; actors Sai Kumar and Prema; along with other Bangladeshi celebrities.
According to the decision of the International Pride Awards jury board, Kaysar Hamid Hannan was nominated for the International Pride Award-2025 in recognition of his exceptional contribution to organizational skills at the grassroots level abroad and social service.
Furthermore, this year (on April 19), the famous 'Genius Award' from London was presented at a ceremony at the five-star Yak and Yeti Hotel in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Expatriate journalist Kaysar Hamid Hannan began his writing career as a freelance journalist during his school days. He was selected as the best writer in the district by winning first place in a subject-based writing competition organized by Chandpur's leading daily, Chandpur Kantha. From his school life, alongside organizational activities, he became a scout leader through scouting. After completing his higher secondary education from Hajiganj Model College, a leading educational institution in Chandpur, he enrolled in Malaysia's Windfield International College in 2009 for higher education. He completed his BBA in Malaysia. Alongside his studies and journalism abroad, he worked for two years as a Bangladeshi Consultant at the Foreign Worker Welfare Management Center, an organization dedicated to the welfare of foreign workers employed in Malaysia. He worked as a staff correspondent for bdnews24.com. He also worked for some time at the newspapers Amar Desh and Jaijaidin. He is also the editor of the Malaysia-based weekly publications Banglar Kotha and Probashi Dinkal. Currently, he is the editor and publisher of the monthly magazine Dishari. Additionally, he is the proprietor of Malaysia KH Production House. He is currently serving as the Vice President of the Bangladesh Community Press Club.
Due to his work merits, journalist Kaysar Hamid Hannan received the Red Live-Zash Asian Award in 2022 from Malaysia's former Foreign Minister, Yang Berbahagia, Tan Sri-Datuk Seri Dr. Syed Hamid Albar. Furthermore, he has at various times received the 'First Achievers Award' in Malaysia, the 'BMSS Golden Award', and the 'Real Hero Award' from Bangladeshi superstar Shakib Khan.
Kaysar Hamid Hannan is an accomplished son of Gogora village, Hajiganj upazila, Chandpur district. He is the middle child among two siblings.
