International Cultural Night Held at UCSI University in Malaysia

An International Cultural Night was grandly organized at UCSI University in Malaysia, featuring students from over 30 countries, including Bangladesh. The event, hosted by the Bangladeshi student association, took place yesterday (Friday, August 8) at the Lee Kadri Ballroom, where students from more than 30 countries worldwide participated.
Among the distinguished guests present were the university's Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dato' Dr. Rohana binti Yusuf, Khalid Abdullah bin Abu Bakar, Kumaresh Kumar A/L Thavanayagam, Dr. Shaila Islam, and ambassadors from various countries.
The Bangladeshi Student Association at UCSI University represented Bangladesh at the event. The team was led by the association's president and BS0M (Bangladeshi Students Organization Malaysia) vice-president, PhD researcher S.M. Topazzal. Through this international competition, Bangladeshi students studying in Malaysia showcased the history, culture, and traditions of their homeland.
Through dance, music, fashion shows, drama, and diverse cultural performances, students from Bangladesh, Malaysia, the USA, Germany, Japan, Zimbabwe, China, Brunei, Pakistan, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Turkey, Indonesia, Korea, and other countries presented their national heritage.
BS0M Vice-President S.M. Topazzal said, "This competition has fostered unity and harmony among Bangladeshi students studying at the university. The central theme of our performance was patriotism. Our primary goal was to highlight our native culture on foreign soil."
The event was coordinated by the association's General Secretary Momtaha Alam Raiba, BSoM’s Media and IT Joint Secretary Shahidul Islam Pintu, Sabrina Akter Tripti, Shakil Ahmed, Amiya Ahanaf, Mohammad Safwanul Islam, Zubayer Ahmed, and others.
Performers included Mohlail Fagun, Naisa, Nazif, Sarah Sarwar, Tasfia Mostari, Mohammad Abdur Rab, Zubayer Sarkar, Tasfia Tasnim, Zabir Ahmed, Shrabon, Iffat Taiba, Nakheel Khan, Shamsunnahar Mishu, Nafiu, Tahasin, Rafid Mawla, and others.
Notably, the event was made successful with the support of the largest and most popular organization of Bangladeshi students in Malaysia, the Bangladeshi Students Organization Malaysia (BSOM) team.
