The Bangladesh High Commissioner H.E. Shahidul Islam paid a courtesy visit to the Minister of Defence, H.E. Dato' Sri Ismail Sabri Yaakob. On Tuesday (June 16) afternoon, the Ambassador met the Minister in the office of the Ministry of Defence, Malaysia.

During the meeting, they both maintained ‘Social Distancing’ and exchanged opinions on some important issues. The issues include friendly communication, Rohingya issue, problems of illegal migrants and other existing bilateral matters between Bangladesh and Malaysia.

They both expressed positivity on the betterment of ongoing cooperation between two nations.  One of the important concerns of the meeting was to discuss the ongoing problems and challenges faced by the Bangladeshi immigrants living in Malaysia.

The Minister also posted on his official Facebook page about these issues.

At the end of the meeting H.E. Dato' Sri Ismail Sabri Yaakob and Bangladesh Ambassador H.E. Shahidul Islam exchanged friendly greetings.
